Sheryl-Underwood
Sheryl Underwood, an American comedian, TV host and actress best known for hosting the popular daily talk show The Talk. Born in Arkansas she grew up within Little Rock and Atwater. Sheryl was raised in the midst of a challenging family. She grew up taking care of her older sister Frankie. Frankie was a polio sufferer. She had a lot of problems with her mother as she was growing to. Sheryl said she was once told that her mother had stabbed the father of her child because she was getting close to her. Sheryl was a soldier soon after she graduated the college. However, her interests lay in comedy. She was chosen as the first female winner in the Miller Lite Comedy Search, held in 1989. In 1992, she began her TV debut as a regular on the HBO show Def Comedy Jam. The show was as host of Oh Drama! as the host in the year 2000. Since 2011, she has been being a co-host for the talk show The Talk. Also, she's appeared as a fictional character in shows such as Bulworth Nicki and Beauty Shop.
